DUXOUP WINE WORKS

Founded in 1981, Duxoup Wine Works is the creation of two free-spirited, inquisitive winemakers: Deborah and Andrew Cutter. They built their small winery themselves, on a hillside at the northern end of Sonoma County’s Dry Creek Valley. The two-person operation is designed for small production and gentle, gravity flow winemaking. Deb and Andy specialize in producing silky, fruity wines from grapes grown in venerable vineyards. Fulfilled by every aspect of their work, the Cutters are a team during crush, barreling and bottling, at winemaker dinners and wine tastings, on the road. Also, adding to ’lower carbon web-footprint’ the Duxoup Duo runs their all gravity winery off a photovoltaic system for the past three years.

Duxoup wines express not only terroir, but also the skilled handwork of the two owners, both experienced winemakers respected for their independence and consistent quality. They are serious about their chosen wines: Syrah, Sangiovese and Charbono. The Duxoup signature is fruit and balance. The wines are rare, but available, under the Duxoup and Gennaio labels.

New Yummy Wines are here!

Syrah

2005 vintage of Syrah at Duxoup has produced a wonderfully fruity and yummy wine. We made just 345 cases (4,140 bottles). With so few bottles, a wine this good won’t be for sale for long.

$27.00 per 750ml bottle

Charbono

The 2006 Charbono is true to the grapes name: Charbono equals dark! This spicy fruity wine will age for years. Also, the supply of bottles (421 cases or 5,052 bottles) is extremely limited. As with previous vintages, it will sell out quickly.

$23.00 per 750ml bottle

Duxoup 2003 Charbono label

Sangiovese

We made only 537 cases (6,444 bottles) of this special wine. Everything went perfectly for our 2004 Sangiovese. An excellent bud break, wonderful weather during the growing season and a smooth clean harvest were just three of the factors adding to our wine. The two blending grapes, cabernet and a small amount of dolcetto, were also of exceptional quality and flavor. This wine tastes great!

$22.00 per 750ml bottle

Duxoup offers free shipping on all 6 and 12 bottle orders.
